Father’s Day & The Metro Man Makeover
If you were blessed enough to have your father in your life, or a father-figure in your life, you know how invaluable your dad was growing up—and how important he continues to be.
Dads are always there to take care of us, right?
One thing our dads tended to neglect: their skin. Besides family vacations when dad slathered an embarrassingly-thick dollop of sunblock on the bridge of his nose, your dad probably didn’t spend too much time washing, toning and moisturizing.
Our Male Clientele is Growing
We’ve had an increase in our male clientele over the past five years as the treatments offered at AlluraDerm MD Med Spa are becoming more widely available and desirable to men.
Could dad’s lack of skincare be the reason we are seeing more male client’s in our office? It’s impossible to tell, of course, but what we do know for sure is that our male client base is growing.
Nationwide, 1.1 million men underwent minimally-invasive and surgical procedures in 2010, according to statistics from the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, an increase of 2 percent compared to the year before.
The Metro Man Makeover
We’re so intrigued by our growing male client base that we contributed to a piece titled “The Metro Man Makeover” that will appear in Albuquerque the Magazine’s June issue.
